Main St. Bethlehem
1st and 2nd Weekend in December
Ancient Bethlehem comes alive in Burnet as townspeople and street vendors recreate the time of the birth of Jesus. A cast including animals, blacksmiths, soldiers and craftspeople transport you to that miraculous night. Open 6-9 p.m. www.fbcburnet.org
Christmas at Ft. Croghan
2nd Saturday in December
Highway 29 West takes you to Ft. Croghan to celebrate Christmas past (around 1849). Enjoy families in era costumes, pathways lined with luminaries, cabins alive with fireplaces, decorations and the Spirit of Christmas in the air. Free refreshments. 5 - 8 p.m. Free to the public.
